Customers compare the retailers nearest to them on the cost of both the gas and the delivery, then order in either of the two forms the trade takes — exchanging an empty cylinder for a filled one, or having their own cylinder collected, refilled and returned. A rider is assigned automatically, ranked by proximity, and tracked to the door.
Funds are held by Gas Domain for the duration of the order and released to the retailer and the rider only once the customer confirms receipt. Orders that go unfilled are refunded in full.
Retailers are verified against their NMDPRA licence and CAC registration before they can trade. Each operates from a dashboard covering pricing, stock, trading hours, order management and settlement records.
For retailers, Gas Domain provides demand and a delivery network without the capital cost of building either. For riders, it provides paid work routed by proximity.
